Soaring Into Greatness: a Blind Woman’s Vision to Live Her Dreams; is Gail’s first book.

I was born in 1953 in Indianapolis, Indiana to upper-middle class parents. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri and a Master of Music degree with emphasis in vocal performance from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas. After pursuing doctoral studies in voice at the University of Colorado in Boulder, I change fields and acquired a Master of Arts degree in psychology and counseling from the Naropa Institute in Boulder.

I help audiences climb mountains and fly over rainbows. Through my stories, I demonstrate how obstacles, challenges, and daily struggles can be transformed into options and celebrations. Audiences experience their own adversities and find comfort in knowing they are not alone. They recognize that they can balance their dark with their light and move from where they are now to where they want to be. They learn to listen to their inner voice, speak the truth, touch their heart and see their vision. They climb their own mountains and fly over their own rainbows.

Through storytelling and song, I inform audiences of my incredible life story. It is my hope that they leave with a desire to persevere, to bring more passion into their lives, to create endless possibilities, and heightened desire to rise above obstacles with new vision.
In June of 2013 I won the title of Ms. Colorado Senior America and represented our state at the national pageant finals in Atlantic City in October where I was 4th runner up! I love having this platform to widen my opportunities to speak and perform and spread my message of living a life of greatness and fulfilling our dreams to fly wherever and whenever I am able!
