Soaring Into Greating by Gail Hamilton CoverIt’s official! My autobiography “Soaring Into Greatness” is published and now available on Amazon.

“Soaring into Greatness: a Blind Woman’s Vision to Live her Dreams and Fly” is a memoir of courage, truth, perseverance and determination. The book reveals how I lost most of my sight at birth, became totally blind at age eleven, sang the leading roles in “La Boheme” and “La Traviata” while in graduate school, lost myself in a relationship, found my independence and dignity with owning four Seeing Eye dogs, built my own Habitat for Humanity home, crowned Ms. Colorado Senior America 2013 Queen, and won fourth runner-up in the national Ms. Senior America Pageant.

Coping with and overcoming my disability, walking through societal, personal, and career discrimination, enduring mental and physical abuses would be difficult for anyone, and to trek through these events being blind made me stronger and more determined to live my dreams and fly on my wings.
